For all the hype, I wasn't particularly impressed by Myers and Chang. On the plus side, the food was fresh and came out hot as soon as it was ready. The downside of this was that we were essentially eating dishes serially. I would have preferred to go back and forth between dishes and pace my meal so I could focus on dishes I liked best. The dishes themselves were good, but not spectacular. The best was the papaya salad, probably the best I have had. The Hakka eggplant had good texture, but was a bit oily and was a bit one dimensional. The spicy Taiwanese chicken leg was crispy and reasonably good if you like fried chicken. The spring rolls were ok. I don't even remember the dumplings. The most memorable was the coconut cake, which was very good. Sweet, but not cloying. Rich, but not too dense. It's quite a large slice. Two of us shared and that was about right.

My favorite items were the tea-smoked ribs and the braised pork belly buns. The ribs were well-seasoned, great sweet and savory balance. The bun was saucy but not soggy. The pickled radish made it taste very refreshing, and the pork belly was extremely tender. The nasi goreng was flavorful and was just the right level of spiciness for me. The biang biang noodles had a chewy texture. It was slightly sour for me but it was still delicious! My friends and I (party of 3) walked in for a Saturday brunch and immediately got seated at the bar. The staff was friendly and food was served quickly after ordering.

We had the good fortune of dining al fresco on a gorgeous summer evening. The server recommended 2 dishes per person. It probably depends on the dish but for us 2 dishes per person was too much. We could have probably done without a dish or two. The food was generally good but everything trended salty. Overall a pleasant dining experience.

Very good ambience, service , attention and food. They have a good choice of dishes for vegetarians. We were celebrating my daughter's graduation and came in early (almost opening). They seated us quickly and this was as they were starting up for the morning. We were a mixed lot of folks who eat meat and folks who are vegetarians. Since it is a small plate place we had a good variety of vegetarian plates. I don't remember the dishes exactly but they were all very good. We left full and then didn't eat a lot also. So it seems like a place we'd visit on a future visit to Boston. Look forward to eating here soon.

Came here for a casual Sunday dinner. Shared a bunch of apps and entrees! I think my faves were the spicy lamb noodles and shrimp dumplings as well as the rice noodles. Also loved the order of greens we got. Wasn't the biggest fan of the crispy salmon rolls. Also wish the spices/heat were more intense but I know the vibe is supposed to be sort of a mixture of east and west. Overall it wasn't too bad but wouldn't necessarily say it was phenomenal either. I was satiated and e joyed my food

We were excited to try this place, since not very often we can find Asian restaurants to serve so many Gluten-Free options. Overall, it would have been 3.5 stars for the food: 4 stars for effort to offer a range of Gluten-Free on the menu, but 3 star for the food we ordered (mixed performance). Service and ambiance were good. We ordered all things Gluten-free to share: - Tofu fresh roll = similar to a spring roll. The tofu is not fried. It is ok, nothing too out of the ordinary. I would not order this one again even though I normally like spring rolls. - Shrimp chips = airy and crispy. - Whole Fish Laht Prik (not pictured) = the best one we ordered. Fried whole fish with citrusy and spicy sauce. Sauce to fish ratio was just right, so that the fish retain crispiness. - Char Siu Chow Fun = The fun noodle was delicate and smooth, but there's not enough in the dish. There's too much sauce (personally, I prefer less sauce in a noodle dish) - Vanilla Bean Parfait with citrus granita = the parfait was too dense, but the rest was good. We couldn't finish the parfait. - Crème caramel = smooth and silky flan paired with bruleed banana. Added crunchiness from white and black sesame seed crips.

Moved back to Boston last year after being away for 7 years.!! This was one of my favorite restaurants for so many reasons. Dined here this evening.. it remains one of my favorite restaurants. Service team so welcoming, friendly and attentive. They truly worked as a team!! Food is amazing.. and they have a "halvsies" menu... which is perfect for the solo guest!!! Can sample several dishes that are meant to be shared!! My culinary heart is happy! Sorry I was excited to dive into my dishes I forgot to take pics!! Also had the Tea-Smoked Pork Spare Ribs and Wok-Charred Udon Noodles with Chicken + Bok Choy!! Yes had to pack some to go!!

Six of us enjoyed a fabulous Sunday brunch here! We had reservations for 11:30 which is when they open. Took a Lyft so we didn't have to worry about parking. They said everything was intended to share and would come out as prepared in random order, so it was always a surprise what was coming next. For 5 of us we shared 13 items, and didn't waste a bite of anything. No doggy bags for us. We were all very full though. The 6th person is a Vegan who was very happy with his 3 items that he ordered. Loved my Yuzu Lemon Drop too. Favorites were the Lemon Shrimp dumplings, the Clams w/Fermented Beans, the roasted root veggies in red miso (carrots & sweet potato), the brussels and the Fried Egg Bahn Mi (even if it was hard to share). Least favorite was probably the wings. A couple folks thought they were too salty. My wing wasn't. I liked it but didn't think the sauce went with it. Everything was loaded with flavor. Dipping sauces all exceptional. All of us loved our experience!

Flavors - 3.7/5 Textures - 4.5/5 Presentation - 4.5/5 Value for Money - 3.5/5 Would return? Maybe Must-try: Tea Smoked Pork Ribs Don't get me wrong, I think their food is pretty good, but I left underwhelmed. It's not what I was expecting for this much hype and how difficult it is to get a reservation. Here's what I got: Mama Changs Pork and Chive Dumplings - the star here is the sauce, which sweet sour heaven. I liked the crispy bottom on the dumplings, but the rest was pretty basic and kind of tasteless without the sauce. Spicy Green Papaya Salad- perhaps my favorite dish here. It was spicy but tolerable and I loved the touch of mint. Spicy Wild Boar Dan Dan Noodles - super interesting flavors that changed with every bite. I found myself going back for more, but the level of spice stopped me. Herby and earthy notes all around. Un-Traditional Scallion Pancake - you know the fried dough they sell at amusement parks? That's what this tasted like (minus the sugar). I could taste the frying oil... 0/5 Tea Smoked Pork Spare Ribs - loved the smoky and sweet notes, and they were super tender. I wouldn't recommend eating them with anything else spicy because I had them back to back with the noodles and my tongue went numb, tingly and cooling, and everything else (even water) tasted weird after that. Our waitress gave me plain rice and that helped.
